6 WEEKS OF GRINDING

Hey Everybody,

I wasn't sure if I was going to do a blog, but after reading my roomie's first post he has semi-inspired me to document my trip to Vegas as well.  Also,  I feel like this is a good way to make my friends/family and especially girlfriend feel a little closer to me while I am away. 

For those who don't know I will be going out to Vegas for 6weeks in search of winning a live poker tournament (World Series of Poker).  I will be living approx. 15 minutes off strip in a beautiful mansion with 4 other poker players/close friends.  The trip should be packed with fun prop bets, lots of bad beats, some partying, but mostly alot of damn poker playing (and hopefully lots of monies too!). 

For the past two years I have been a professional poker player, mostly playing online and splashing around the live circuit here and there.  This will be the first time I am planning on playing most of the smaller buyin events and not just the Main Event.  I am hoping to really show that I am capable of crushing the live tournament fields as I believe they are much softer then the current online games that I play in everyday.  

This is a graph of the last 50k hands I have played online so far in 2009.  I play high stakes heads up and shorthanded games.

I am flying out June 1st and will be adding entries to this blog daily whenever I have the free time.
